    Entries are now open for the BASA Exhibition at the Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show. Just click on the event to access the information and entry process. Entries close 11 February 2024.

    The next Flora exhibition will be the first BASA exhibition to be held in Perth, at the Holmes à Court Gallery, 10 Douglas St, West Perth, from 2 September to 14 October 2023 (open Tuesday to Saturday, closed Sunday, Monday each week).

    Entry is open to all BASA members with their artworks being exhibited along with botanical artworks from the Janet Holmes à Court private collection and other works.

    Up to 3 original framed works can be submitted along with a up to of 5 prints and maximum of 4 different card designs with no more than 10 copies of each design. Entry fee is $10 per artwork and 25% commission.

    The Best in Show will be awarded $2000 with $1000 to be split between the highly commended ones.

    This BASA exhibition will be held at the Cowra Japanese Garden and Cultural Centre, NSW from 2 September to 29 September. Spring is a beautiful time at the Garden so make time to come and visit!

    Entries close for the Flora 2022 Small Works exhibition on August 5.

    The exhibition will be held at the Japanese Garden in Cowra from 2-29 September 2022.

    Can Assist Southern Highlands is proud to partner with the Botanical Art Society of Australia (BASA) and the National Trust in presenting the inaugural Can Assist Southern Highlands Botanical Art & Illustration Prize.

    This will be a juried exhibition and prizes will be judged by Beverly Allen and Rick Shepherd. First Prize of $2000, Second Prize of $1000 and People’s Choice Award of $500 will be announced at the Exhibition Opening on Sunday 17th July at 11am.

    Can Assist ensures all people, no matter where they live in NSW, have equitable access to cancer treatment and care by providing financial assistance, practical support and raising awareness.

    The Can Assist SH Botanical Art & Illustration Prize will become an annual event celebrating a rotation of the seasons. Can Assist SH will receive the commission of 25% on sales of works and other monies collected at the exhibition.

    This prize is open only to members of the Botanical Art Society of Australia.

    The Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show is back!

    After being cancelled in 2020 and 2021 the show is due to return on March 30.

    BASA will again be exhibiting in the art show on the gallery level in the Royal Exhibition Building.

    Members can apply to submit entries by clicking here.

    Entries close February 13.
