Welcome to the new look BASA website and logo. The committee felt it was time to update our profile and our new website gave us the opportunity to do this.

While initially the website content may look familiar, there are many new features. New members can enrol and pay online and all members with email addresses can now to login and update their details online at any time. The system will automatically send out renewal notices 30 days before the renewal is due and you can pay directly online with only a couple of clicks. While members without email or internet access are included online, they will still be kept informed about exhibitions and renewals via the ordinary post and their details maintained by the website administrator.

Every member has a profile online with their details including the ability to add images of their work to albums. These are visible to other members via the members directory which is now online but visible only to members. For those with privacy concerns you now have fine control over what the public and other members can see. If you had previously asked to exclude yourself completely from the members directory, your option “Show profile to others” has been turned off completely.

The Members’ Gallery is still our public face and we urge you to send us updates to it. We hope to automate that process eventually.

You can also enrol directly in our exhibitions, starting with the 2020 Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show. Entries will open in December and an email will be sent inviting you to exhibit.

Within the members area there is an archive of the complete set of newsletters from our 20 years of activity and we have a forum area where we will initiate discussions or have tutorials as well as this news blog. We are looking for suggestion on topics for the forum discussions.

Please explore and enjoy our new website.
