Sooka is a Botanical Artist. She creates watercolour illustrations of plants and flowers, capturing their beauty and intricate details. She completed the Distance Learning Course Diploma with distinction from the Society of Botanical Artists (UK) in 2022. She also won the Diploma Photofolio Achievement Award. She is currently a member of the BASA and SBA foundation member.

Sooka Kim has been involved in various group exhibitions with the BASA and the Korean Women's Art Group in previous years. Additionally, she participated in a group exhibition with the Society of Botanical Artists (SBA) at the Mall Galleries in London in 2022.
