GROWING IN THE GARDENS – botanic art exhibition

The Botanical Art Group at the Australian National Botanic Gardens in Canberra will present their 14th annual exhibition at the Visitor Centre from Saturday 9 April to Sunday 8 May from 9.30am to 4.30pm.
This year we have chosen as a theme plants that are growing in the Gardens.

All plants growing in the garden are   Australian natives although the colder climate can limit the variety of plants that grow here. Artworks nevertheless show the wide variety of plants that survive with the careful nurturing of the staff. 

Artists in the exhibition have used a variety of mediums including watercolour, coloured pencils, graphite and digital illustration. There are over 100 members in our group and we have 3 meetings at the Gardens each month when circumstances permit.
