Beverly Allen

Beverly’s paintings are held in the Florilegium Royal Botanic Gardens Sydney, the Shirley Sherwood Collection, The Highgrove Florilegium for the Prince of Wales’ Charitable Trust, The Transylvania Florilegium for the Prince of Wales’s Foundation Romania, the Lindley Library, the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew Library and the Hunt Institute for Botanical Documentation.

She has exhibited at the Royal Botanic Gardens Sydney annually and in the USA with the ASBA, in the Netherlands, Japan, Italy and in London at the Shirley Sherwood Gallery at Kew Gardens and Jonathon Cooper Gallery. Beverly works in watercolour on paper and on vellum.

Beverly co-founded the Florilegium Society at the Royal Botanic Gardens Sydney in 2005.

She holds Gold Medals from the Royal Horticultural Society London and the New York Botanic Garden. In 2016 she was awarded the Diane Bouchier Award for Excellence in Botanical Art by the American Society of Botanical Artists. Beverly received the Shirley Sherwood Award for Botanical Art in 2023.
