CanAssist Southern Highlands Botanical Art & Illustration Prize

Can Assist Southern Highlands is proud to partner with the Botanical Art Society of Australia (BASA) and the National Trust in presenting the 2nd Can Assist Southern Highlands Botanical Art & Illustration Prize.

This is a juried exhibition and prizes were judged by Susannah Blaxill, Elaine Musgrave and Keith Hunter. First Prize of $2000, Second Prize of $1000 and Highly Commended Awards of $250 were announced at the Exhibition Opening on Friday 6th October 5:30-7:30pm. A People’s Choice Award of $500 will be awarded at the end of the exhibition.

Can Assist ensures all people, no matter where they live in NSW, have equitable access to cancer treatment and care by providing financial assistance, practical support and raising awareness.

The Can Assist SH Botanical Art & Illustration Prize is an annual event celebrating a rotation of the seasons. Can Assist SH will receive the commission of 25% on sales of works and other monies collected at the exhibition.
