Basic floral structure of the plant family Myrtaceae with Dr Tanya Scharaschkin,

The workshop will cover basic floral structure and will focus on the plant family Myrtaceae. 

We will dissect flowers and talk about basic botany so as to better understand plants like eucalypts, bottle brushes and tea trees.

Materials: basic note-taking and sketching supplies 

Optional: magnifying glass/lamp, dissecting kit 

Hat (we might sit outside, depending on numbers), reading glasses 

BYO lunch and refreshments,  tea and coffee provided
