The Legacy of Banks and Solander - ACT

 If Coronavirus restrictions continue to be relaxed the Botanical Art Group at the Australian National Botanic Gardens in Canberra hopes that we hope to be able to present our postponed botanical art exhibition The Legacy of Banks and Solander  in the Visitors Gallery possibly in September.   For exhibition dates in 2020 please check the Calendar at www.friendsanbg.org.au.

The exhibition features illustrations of plants  collected by Banks and Solander 250 years ago as well as other Banksia species.   The exhibition coincides with the opening of a new banksia garden at ANBG.  We have been fortunate that Canberra has experienced relatively few Covid-19 cases and look forward to welcoming BASA members to the exhibition.
