I have always loved to draw and won my first art prize on the ship coming to Australia from England when I was ten years old. I studied Physics and Maths at The University of Adelaide gaining an Honors degree in 1970. I went on to teach at the University of South Australia while researching for a Masters degree. In 1980 I gained a Graduate Diploma in Library and Information Science from W.A. Institute of Technology (Curtin University). I created greeting cards for Kathleen Lumley College, Adelaide, while in residence 1991 - 1993. I also have a Diploma of Commercial Art (2003) and I was awarded a RADF grant in 1997 when I lived in Ipswich, Queensland. Alongside my scientific work I continued my art and in retirement I created greeting cards, a colouring-in book, and a book of paintings of Mount Tamborine and the Gold Coast Hinterland, which were displayed in the Visitor Information Centre. | Website: Facebook: |
