Barbara is a botanical watercolour artist living in Mackay in the beautiful Whitsunday Region of Queensland. Barbara has studied with the Society of Botanical Artists in the UK and holds a Diploma of Botanical Art awarded by the Society. Barbara's detailed illustrations are inspired by her rural upbringing in Southwest Queensland, a love of gardening and a deep passion for Australian native plants. A significant source of native plant specimens illustrated by Barbara can be found in the Mackay Regional Botanic Gardens in North Queensland.
