Central Coast Botanical Art Group
This self directed and well structured group provides a supportive environment for anyone interested in botanical art. It provides an opportunity for all levels of artist to learn and paint together and share their time, ideas, inspiration and friendship.

As a botanist and artist, Tanya offers classes that combine science and art. She runs a number of workshops and classes in Tasmania and elsewhere. Please contact her for current and future availability or to arrange private lessons.
As an introduction to botany and botanical art, you will be guided through the process of observing plants and learning to draw them accurately. The basic steps of botanical drawing will be demonstrated gradually over four weeks, allowing you time to practice between sessions. By the end of the course, you should feel comfortable drawing leaves and simple flowers accurately.
