Newsletter
The quarterly Newsletter profiles an artist, and includes biographical information and colour reproductions of their paintings. It also contains news from Interstate Liaison Officers.


Plant features, garden and book reviews keep members up to date with interesting and helpful information. There are also member’s contributions describing (for example) excursions and exhibitions.

Sandra Sanger

 

 

 

 

 

As a graphic artist and art teacher with a lifelong love of drawing, Sandra easily slotted into botanical art.

 

At the Art of Botanical Illustration exhibitions 2006 and 2008, Sandra received an Honourable Mention in the Celia Rosser Award for outstanding paintings.

 

The Doryanthes excelsa painting was chosen as the signnature image for the Art of Botanical Illustration exhibition in 2009 and also the Christmas Card for the Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne.

 

Sandra has won two Gold Medals in the RHS Garden Show in the UK and also a Best in Show, with the RHS Lindley Library London purchasing one of her paintings Eucalyptus erythrocorys.
