I acquired my BFA in 2008 after working for many years with children where my focus was definitely on the creative side and deeply seated in art.   I have recently returned from 9 years living in France, most of which was near Cognac whilst my husband was working in sport in the UK and on the London Olympics. This gave me a unique opportunity and a wonderful experience in all areas of my art practice because I was able to do a lot of playing and experimentation.

My inspiration comes from the gardens that I have created over many years, and a mad passion for anything weird and wonderful growing, documenting and illustrating and incorporating them into my Art textiles and plant portraiture.
