Coloured Pencil and Graphite
Jacqueline captures the very essence of her subjects and conveys her love of the natural environment using coloured pencil, graphite and watercolour. She holds formal university qualifications in the visual arts and from private colleges, and has attended several master classes in Australia.
Recently she was awarded the Diploma of Botanical Illustration with Distinction from the Society of Botanical Artists UK. Jacqueline has exhibited and sold works in England, Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne and galleries in NSW and WA.
Publications include contributions to Flora of the South West and The Handbook of Plant Forms for Botanical Artists, as well as the Coloured Pencil Techniques DVD turorial (available from her website. See information below).
Jacqueline is a member of BASA, FRBGN and Botanical Artistry. She spends several weeks a year collecting data from which she produces finished paintings from her home studio in Mandurah WA.
